Doogee S90 introduces 2 new modules for the Projector and 2 Environment

A couple of months ago, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Doogee released the Doogee S90 phone in its home market, what comes with a modular design allowing users to connect various modules for enhancing the experience.

There’s a magnetic strip on the backside of the Doogee S90 through what users could smoothly attach the desired accessory. The company has already released a several modules, like Evening Vision Image sensor, Power module, Digital Walkie-Talkie, Game module, and the 5G module.

Currently, the Chinese manufacturer has added 2 new modules in the list — Projector and 2 Environment. Whereas it’s not still known how the projector module will work, we anticipate it to be similar to that of Samsung Galaxy Beam where it will project a beamer out of the smartphone.

Approaching to the phone’s specifications, the Doogee S90 ships with a 6.18-inch display and is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 4 on top. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 chipset and the cpu is supported by 6GB of RAM and inner storage of 128GB.

The phone arrives equipped with a 16-megapixel and an 8-megapixel AI dual image sensor option. Because it is a rugged phone, it comes with an IP68 certified body ensuring water and dust resistance. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo running system out-of-the-box and is powered by a 5,050mAh battery.

Doogee also showcased its modular S90 phone at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, Spain, together with 2 other phones — S70 and S80. The phone is currently out there for buy through various online retailers for a starting value of $330.
