Speedtest updates app with new UI and features

Speedtest has released a new version of its app on iOS that comes with a new design and couple of new features. The new UI is consistent with the design that we have been seeing on other platforms, such as the web version, the Windows 10 version and the Apple TV version. Gone is the old, large speedometer with bright colors and glowing textures, replaced by an indigo background and more modern minimal textures with a new condensed font. Google Home and WiFi Spanish launch imminent

Google Home and Google WiFi will soon be hitting Spain as revealed by a Spanish retailer's website. While the Home/Home Mini listings have been pulled, Google WiFi listing is still sitting pretty. The Home and Home Mini carried price tags of €149 and €59, respectively, while the Google WiFi will set you back €139 (€359 for 3-pack). At this year's IO conference, Google confirmed the Home and Home Mini will be made available in a total of seven new markets, including Denmark, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, and Sweden. Samsung Galaxy S8 scores 88 in DxOMark

Samsung released the Galaxy S8 in March. Now the camera professionals from DxOMark rated the device 88/100, positioning it behind the HTC U11 and Google Pixel and on par with its predecessor, the Galaxy S7 edge. The Galaxy S8 has excellent autofocus, accurate white balance, and very effective noise reduction, according to DxOMark. In fact, it's auto focus is one of the fastest there is. Motorola Moto G7 passes FCC, it’s closer to launch than expected

Even though it seems a bit too early for the Moto G7 to be coming around, Motorola might think otherwise as an FCC filing just came in, hinting of a nearing launch. After all, the Moto G6 series have been announced earlier this year. We could also potentially see the next mid-rangers as early as January or February. Pictures of a Galaxy Note 5 prototype leaked online, is the S Pen debate settled then?

There is no shortage of leaks when it comes to new Samsung devices and the Galaxy Note 5 is getting the same treatment, we’ve already seen multiple leaked photos and renders of the upcoming handset. Today pictures of a Galaxy Note 5 prototype have been leaked online and while they don’t reveal much about the device that we don’t already know, they do offer a new perspective about the S Pen ejection mechanism that has been the subject of much debate these past few weeks. It was first rumored that the Galaxy Note 5 is going to have an auto-eject S Pen and that made sense since Samsung has a patent on that technology, but later we heard that it’s actually going to rely on the push-to-release mechanism. If pictures of this prototype represent the truth then it appears that it’s going to be business as usual, a small curve in the frame which will let the user take out the S Pen using their finger or nail.
