vivo V5 review: Oddball

Vivo V5 is all about the selfies, and you can tell it right away by a quick inspection on its specs sheet. The V5 surely looks good, but it has a lower-res screen, mediocre chipset, uninspiring main camera, and it didn’t even deserve the latest Funtouch launcher. If it wasn’t for the high-res selfie snapper, it would have been the definition of mediocrity.

LG Watch Style and Watch Sport hands-on

LG announced a duo of Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches a couple of weeks ago – the LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport. They both feature circular displays and are the first watches to come with the new Wear 2.0 OS.

We spent some quality time the Style and Sport, and we are ready to share with you some first impressions.

LG Watch Style

LG Watch Style is the smaller and cheaper model of the duo. It has a 1.2″ P-OLED screen, 360px in diameter. The watch case is 10.8mm thick, which is fine for a smartwatch nowadays. The case diameter is 42mm.

GFX leaks Xiaomi Mi 5c, Huawei P10, and Moto G5

The MWC is closing in, and new phones are being tested one last time before their premieres at the expo. And there is no surprise of the abundance of still unannounced phones appearing at the GFX database prior to the Barcelona show.

Xiaomi Mi 5c went through the GFX benchmark test, and the app captured its specs. Nokia 3310 will run S30+ and have Nokia 150 design cues

You may have heard of the legendary Nokia 3310 and may have heard that Nokia is bringing it back in a couple of days at the Mobile World Congress 2017. But otherwise details have been scarce on what exactly the 3310 reboot will be.

All we’ve heard is that it will have a similar, if not the same design and a larger, colored display.

But the popular leakster around Evan Blass has a few new tidbits on the new Nokia 3310. According to his sources it will run on Series 30+ – a feature phone OS that runs on recent Nokia-branded phones like the Nokia 150.

Ringing Bells roller-coaster is over, founder arrested on fraud suspicion

The founder of Ringing Bells, the company behind the infamous $4 smartphone, has been arrested on suspicion of fraud. A local retailer has filed a complaint against Ringing Bells for unfulfilled $45,000 order. They even tried to resolve the matter with the “Freedom” maker, but received death threats instead of actual phones.

Ringing Bells came under the spotlight around this time last year with the announcement of the ultra cheap Freedom 251 smartphone (the price of INR 251 equals $4).
