Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus are now available

mi-5s-plus3Starting with the Xiaomi Mi 5s, the new device has a unibody aluminum design, with a brushed metal finish and curved edges, and antenna lines along the top and bottom that look far too familiar. Along the back is also the new large 1/2.3-inch 12 megapixel sensor with F/2.0 aperture and PDAF that bests even the iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7 edge, if Xiaomi’s slides are to be believed. Overheating and losing quickly power on replaced Galaxy Note7 units!

Ultrasonic Fingerprint scanner on the Xiaomi Mi5s – confirmed

xiaomi-mi5sWe are now only hours away from the official unveiling of the Xiaomi Mi 5s. And if you have been keeping up with the rumor mill, then you likely know already that it is more or less an upgraded version of the company’s current flagship offer. However, there are still at least a couple of important changes to note. One, of course, being the Snapdragon 821 SoC. The other major thing going around in rumors has been Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic Fingerprint scanner.
