ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia was active in launching handsets in 2018. In April 2018, ZTE carried out its initially 5G testing based on the 3GPP R15 usual. Later in October, it tried its initial 5G call and in November, it conducted other tests on phone calls, internet connectivity and WeChat.
