New rumor reveals Xiaomi Mi 6 launch date

According to a new rumor out of China, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be launched around mid-next month. Specifically, the rumor says the phone will be released on April 16. Some other details were also tipped, such as the Mi 6 will be the first Chinese phone to pack in Snapdragon 835 SoC, and the chipset won't be under-clocked as some earlier rumors had suggested. Other details that were revealed included a 5.2-inch LCD display with a 2.5D glass, a ceramic body variant, and Xperia XZ Premium-like camera. Sygic is working on Apple CarPlay support with proper offline mode

With iOS 12, Apple opened up CarPlay to third-party map software and Sygic is excited to jump on board. You can see a post on the company's blog from two years ago that explains why Sygic maps weren't on CarPlay or Android Auto. The reason, of course, was that Apple and Google allowed only certain apps to do navigation (and for Android Auto that is still true). Dual-camera Samsung Galaxy J7+ and budget J7 Core quietly start selling in the Philippines

Samsung Mobile Philippines just added two more variants to the already confusing pool of Galaxy J7 handsets. The Galaxy J7+ does have one really major distinctive feature going for it - a dual 13MP, plus 5MP rear camera setup. These sensors are placed behind quite bright f/1.7 and f/1.9 lenses, respectively and enable Samsung's Live Focus feature on the budget device. New update hitting Sony Xperia L2 and XA2 series

Sony has started pushing out new updates to its Xperia XA2 series as well as L2 smartphones. The Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra update bumps the build number to 50.1.A.4.102, and brings along Android security fixes for the month of January. The update to the Xperia L2 on the other hand bumps the version from 49.0.A.2.62 to 49.0.A.3.72.
