Today, Xiaomi launched new Yeelight LED strips on its online store.
The new Yeelight flexible LED strips are DIY lights and are smart lights with WiFi support. With support for 16 million colors, the lights use mercury-free soft PU gel that offers high transmittance and anti-oxidation. On one side of the strips is a peelable adhesive that makes installation very easy without any support. Just stick it to the surface you want to.
The new Yeelight strips have got built-in 60 high-quality RGB LEDs that have a service life of around 25,000 hours. The controller comes with touch buttons and lets you switch colors easily. There’s also an app (partnered with Mi’s smart home package) that helps you easily change the whole scene of your home using the lights.The new Yeelight LED strip costs CNY 169 ($25) and is available on home.mi.com/shop.
