Xiaomi launches Redmi 4 in India

Ten months after the launch of the Redmi 3S Prime, Xiaomi has launched its successor, the Redmi 4, in India.

The differences between the Redmi 3S Prime and the Redmi 4 are mostly cosmetic. The new phone has slimmer, tapered edges and a cleaner, more contemporary design. The speaker has been moved from the back to the bottom of the phone and the metal and aluminum meet in cleaner anodized high-gloss aluminum lines.

On the inside, the two phones are largely the same. There is the same 5.0-inch 720p LCD on the front, a 13 megapixel f2.0 camera on the back with PDAF, a 5 megapixel f2.2…
