Xiaomi’s sub-brand Huami unveiled a new round smartwatch – the Amazfit Verge. It promises 5 days of battery life with continuous heart rate tracking and even occasional GPS use (GLONASS is supported too). There’s NFC as well, which can be used as a bus pass and with AliPay in China
The watch is built around a 1.3″ AMOLED display (360 x 360px) covered with Gorilla Glass 3. The body measures 12.6mm thick and weighs 46g. It is IP68 waterproof, which is okay for showering with the watch, but not for swimming.
