Samsung caught using DSLR photo on Galaxy A8 Star landing page

By this point, it's safe to say you can never assume that phone makers promote their phones using actual photos taken with the product that they are advertising. Is this false advertising? This time, the photo in question is one that you can find on the Hong Kong version of Samsung's Galaxy A8 Star landing page. Scroll down a bit and you'll see it, describing Live Focus and how the user can manually adjust the bokeh effect to as little or as much as they want. Only, this photo wasn't actually...

The world’s first wireless charging laptop is now available from Dell

Dell's new 2-in-1 laptop just went on sale. But what's most interesting about it is that it's the first 2-in-1 computer to support wireless charging. 2018 iPhone might come with quicker wireless charging

We are getting closer to the end of the summer and the Apple rumor mill is fully in motion. Today's rumors comes from The China Times where "supply chain news" claims that a new 2018 iPhone will have its wireless charging coils updated to support faster wireless charging. It's expected that at least one of the iPhones that will launch in 2018 will have this updated wireless charging by using copper coil instead of FPC (flexible printed circuit) to get a stronger current wirelessly. The downside to using a coil is that it'd take up more space, but the upside is less heat is produced which...
