Android 9 Pie comes to Sony Xperia XZ1 on October 26

Last week the Sony Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact got their Android Pie serving and today the company announced that it's about to add more phones to the list. A trio of former flagships will receive Pie starting October 26 - the Xperia XZ Premium, the Xperia XZ1, and the Xperia XZ1 Compact. Asus Zenfone AR will launch on June 14 as per invitation

The Asus Zenfone AR was first announced back in January at CES in Vegas. That was several months ago and the Tango-enabled phone still isn't out yet. Late last month, it was reported that the Asus handset would launch in Taiwan in mid-June and the United States' launch is to follow shortly thereafter.
