Moto E5 Plus has a 5,000 mAh battery, is joined by the Moto E5 and E5 Play

Motorola unveiled three affordable E-series phones, which in many ways mirror the new G6 trio. All three phones will launch "in the coming months" with Android 8.0 Oreo and even the most affordable model has a fingerprint reader hidden in the Motorola logo along with water-repellent coating. Also, the selfie cameras have LED flashes and your photos can be stored at full resolution at Google Photos for free. But don't think of these as the junior team, we think this first one might actually be a better phone than the Moto G6 Play (and at a lower cost to boot). Moto E5 Plus The Moto E5...

Huawei Mate 20 Pro prototype pictured: a curved screen makes for slim bezels

The glass panels of the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro hinted at slim bezels, but the launch box we saw last week did its best to conceal the design. This dummy offers a much cleaner look at the upcoming design. This is the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, you can tell by the wide bezel (and by the label on the screen, obviously). The non-Pro model is coming with a smaller waterdrop notch instead. Huawei Mate 20 Pro prototype However, the Pro model will house a 3D face scanner in that notch (according to rumors). Further differences include screen resolution - 1,440 x 3,120px for the Pro...

Cheapest 2018 iPhone may be late, no Apple Pencil support for handsets this year

Apple has long been rumored to introduce three new iPhones this year, at an event that might take place during the week of September 9. A 5.8" direct successor to the iPhone X (with a new chipset and camera system), a 6.5" larger / "Plus" version of that, and a 6.1" model that will be the cheapest of the bunch. Its lower price will be achieved by using an LCD screen instead of AMOLED, and an aluminum frame instead of stainless steel. Speaking of which, the color of the chassis may not entirely match that of the glass back. All three iPhones will have wireless charging, along with Face...

Huawei Mate 20 brings its Kirin 980 to Geekbench, outclasses competition

A Huawei device with the codename LYA-L29 has been spotted on Geekbench running Android 9 with an eight core processor and 6GB of RAM. Taking into account the latest Android version and the score, we believe this is the Huawei Mate 20 or Mate 20 Pro, both of which will run Huawei's Kirin 980 chipset. The chipset managed to achieve a single-core result of 3,390 and a multi-core score of 10,318. The multi-core result managed to outdo all Android competition but stops shy of the iPhone XS' 11,472. We've seen similar results from the Kirin 980 in AnTuTu, where it once again beat its...

Huawei mocks Galaxy Note9, promises real flagship upgrade

Huawei Mobile has been seemingly unimpressed by the Galaxy Note9 that launched the other day and used its Twitter account to take a dig at Samsung for it. We took a leap when we launched the #HuaweiP20Pro, we're all about real upgrades that will make a difference everyday like a triple lens camera with 40mp, 5x zoom and much more. Imagine what will come next. pic.twitter.com/AjUS86YHyK— Huawei Mobile (@HuaweiMobile) August 9, 2018 "This is called a real generation upgrade." says the tweet comparing the P10 Plus and P20 Pro and it's clearly suggesting that the Note9 is a rather minor...
