Samsung’s first omnidirectional speaker is finally coming to market

Samsung unveiled its first omnidirectional “ring” speaker at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 back in January and today the company finally announced that it’s coming to market later this month. Officially called the Wireless Audio Radiant 360 R7 the speaker delivers rich audio experience through balanced room-filling sound, and since it’s an omnidirectional speaker it lets users experience premium sound without the conventional placement requirements.The R7 works with Samsung’s new Multiroom app which lets people share music across connected devices in their home, it can even be connected to select TVs, soundbars and mobile devices from Samsung thus firmly establishing its credentials as a truly location free speaker that provides great quality both inside and outside the home. Samsung Wireless Audio Radiant 360 R7 speaker will go on sale in the United States later this month for $499.99.
