Samsung’s Exynos 9820 to come with tri-cluster, 2+2+4 CPU

Even though MediaTek dropped the triple core configuration setup on its chipsets, Samsung seems keen to give it a try. The latest rumor going around by leakster Ice Universe claims that the next in-house made Exynos 9820 will incorporate two of the custom Mongoose M4 cores accompanied by two sets of unmodified ARM cores. The three clusters will be able to work in every possible configuration thanks to ARM’s DynamIQ architecture.
