Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge on Sprint start getting Nougat update

Sprint has started pushing out a new update to Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge units on its network. Weighing in at 167MB, the update brings along Android Nougat (version 7.0), and is currently hitting units that were part of the company's Galaxy Beta Program. It's reasonable to assume that all Sprint Galaxy S7/S7 edge units will start getting the update shortly. For units currently running Marshmallow, the update will weigh in at 1.2GB. T-Mobile and AT&T have already rolled out the update. Via

Samsung inadvertently leaks an image of its own Galaxy Watch

Samsung has been gearing up for its announcement of its next-generation smartwatch. FCC filings have already pre-confirmed that it will not be called the Samsung Gear S4, but the Samsung Galaxy Watch. Today's leak confirms this, along with the model number that we saw in those FCC filings. The leak happened on Samsung's website but has since been taken down. First spotted by CNET, the Galaxy Watch was seen in a device comparison chart next to the Gear S2. We see the watch in Rose Gold and a model number of SM-R810NZDAXAR. This corresponds with the model number SM-R8XX scheme spotted last...

And even it was a galactic trio last week, this time second place is taken by Galaxy A5 (2017). The latter was released in January and since then is crawling higher and higher in ourweekly interest chart. The other devices are well-known. We are quite surprised to see...

Honor Note 10 with a 6.9-inch Super AMOLED display incoming

Recent reports pointed at Huawei ordering 6.9-inch Samsung Super AMOLED panels for its October release of the Mate 20 but the latest leak coming from Honor has something more to add to the story. The photo shows an order of 6.9-inch displays - probably AMOLED judging by the model number - intended for an Honor device code-named "Ravel". As you might remember, Honor released a bigger version of its Honor 8 smartphone called Honor Note 8 with an AMOLED panel back in 2016 but then skipped the Note 9 installment. Now, the company appears to be interested in a follow up probably called...
