The time has finally come for AT&T to send out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to the Samsung Galaxy S7 active. This model, as you may remember, was exclusive to this particular carrier, pairing the specs of the vanilla S7 with a rugged build.
The rollout has started going out today, and as always we assume it’s going to be phased. Of course you can always try manually checking for it to see if it shows up. Regardless, you should receive the update notification within the next few days. Once you do, you’ll have to deal with a 1.5GB download.
