Dual-curved Meizu 15 Plus pictured with some screen protectors

The Meizu 15 Plus has been a regular at the rumor mill since December last year, and even posed for some live shots a couple of weeks ago. In today's installment of the saga of pre-announcement leaks, we're treated to a few renders of the phone with some glass screen protectors meant to cover its dual-curved screen. Meizu 15 Plus screen protector renders Screen protector manufacturers aren't ones to care for specs as long as they have the cutouts right, so no additional info on hardware comes from these images. Caviar celebrates Putin’s reelection win with new golden iPhone X

Apple launched the iPhone X at $999, and some people jokingly said that it should be made of gold for that price. The Russian luxury company Caviar took the statement to heart and had been introducing various versions of the flagship, including one with a meteorite-coated body and a variant with over 300 precious stones. The latest product by Caviar is called iPhone X Putin Golden Age and celebrates Vladimir Putin's win at the Russian elections last week where over 76% of the citizens voted for him. Instead of having a fancy sticker or a bumper case, Caviar has rebuilt the...

Benchmarking the Snapdragon 710

The Snapdragon 710 is a rather curious new beast. It is the ambassador, of sorts, to Qualcomm's fresh lineup of 700 series chips, unveiled back in February. Currently, we have only heard news of one other 7 series chip - the Snapdragon 730. It will likely be based on a Samsung 8nm LPP manufacturing process, use different cores and even feature a dedicated NPU 120 chip for on-device machine learning tasks. It looks like a different beast altogether and is unlikely to show up before the end of 2018. For now, we get the Snapdragon 710 - a 10nm chipset that Qualcomm is also taunting...

Along with the photo, Chang Cheng posted a poll asking users what they think a full-screen smartphone really is: 1. 80-84% screen ratio 2. 85-89% screen ratio 3. 90-94% screen ratio Further down, Lenovo's VP clarifies that the upcoming device will break the 95% barrier and deliver a truly full-screen smartphone experience with virtually...

Budget 6.1-inch iPhone envisioned next to iPhone X in high-quality renders

Take a look at what could be a pretty close rendition of the entry level iPhone for 2018. The renders were made with the recent rumors and leaks in mind and show an iPhone with a 6.1-inch LCD, which is slightly larger than the iPhone X. Another differentiating factor is the single camera on the back and possibly the use of aluminium for the frame, instead of the stainless steel used in the iPhone X. The back of the 6.1-inch iPhone is said to be glass, like on all current iPhone models so it's an easy assumption that it will also have wireless charging. If a recent rumor...
