Unlocked LG V35 ThinQ US pre-orders include free Daydream View VR headset

Just last week, word broke out that the unlocked variant of the LG V35 ThinQ is about to hit the stores. Now pre-orders have gone live and they come with a nice bonus. Retailer B&H is currently accepting the pre-orders for the handset, and is asking $900, which is the phone's launch price tag in the US. To sweeten the deal, the retailer is including free Google Daydream View VR headset (2017 edition), which usually goes for $100. While there's no information from B&H on when shipments would begin (the listing just says "coming soon"), LG has confirmed a mid-July launch time frame....

Samsung Pay launched in India

Just last week, Samsung started accepting registrations for early access to its mobile payments service Samsung Pay in India, and today the service has been officially launched - those who registered for the early access program can use Samsung Pay now. Amazon launches Fire TV Stick in India

As we had reported earlier, Amazon has launched the Fire TV Stick in India. The device is priced at INR 3,999 ($62) for Prime as well as non-Prime customers. Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 now getting Oreo

Verizon has started pushing out a new update to Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 units on its network. Arriving as software version R16NW.T827VVRU1BRD4, it's a major update that brings Android Oreo. In addition to the usual Oreo goodies, the new firmware includes productivity improvement tools such as high contrast keyboard and the SmartThings app. Android security fixes for April are included as well.
