New Telegram update brings support for custom themes

Popular privacy-focused messaging app Telegram has received a new update, bumping it to version 3.7. The update brings support for custom themes, a feature you can access by heading to Settings > Themes. In addition, a Theme Editor has also been added to the app, enabling you to create new themes as well as share them with others. Microsoft shutting down Groove Music for Android and iOS

After shutting down the Groove Music service back in October last year, Microsoft has announced that the service's Android and iOS apps will also be retired this year. The company will pull the plug on these apps on December 1, 2018. The company reassures that any personal files will continue to be available in OneDrive. "You can keep listening to those files, and your playlists, with the Windows 10 Groove Music apps on PC, Xbox, or Windows Phone," Microsoft said in a support page update. Source



LG G8 ThinQ pricing uncovered and pre-orders start from 15th March in South Korea

At the Mobile World Congress, LG announced its flagship cameraphone LG G8 ThinQ but didn’t reveal the phone’s pricing and availability details. Now, the manufacturer has unveiled that the product will be in the world for pre-orders in South Korea from 15th March. As for the pricing, the LG G8 ThinQ will cost KRW 897,600 in South Korea, what roughly converts to $795. The cameraphone will be available for pre-orders in the country between March 15-20 and it will go on sale starting March 22. The manufacturer has said that the device will be provided with a panel replacement facility for one year and will come provided with a free case. The G8 ThinQ notably arrives as a successor to the LG G7 ThinQ that was released last year. Coming to the phone’s specs, the cameraphone options a 6.1-inch OLED notched panel that carries support for Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. Under the hood, the gadget is fueled by Qualcomm’s Sd 855 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM. In the image sensor department, it ships with a triple digital camera setup on its rear that is a 12-megapixel main digital camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 16-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens. Oppo F5 Youth arrives in China as Oppo A73

Oppo F5 arrived in October, followed by a toned-down version named Oppo F5 Youth a month later. Now the manufacturer launched a China-only variant of the latter named Oppo A73. It has the same 6" FullView screen and 13 MP camera. The chipset has octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU. HMD confirms July 2 launch for Nokia 3.1 in US

A couple of weeks back, we told you that Amazon has started accepting pre-orders for the Nokia 3.1 in the US, and shipments will begin July 2 onwards. Now, HMD has officially confirmed the July 2 launch for the device in the US. In a press release, the company said the Android One phone (2GB/16GB model) will be available for purchase from Amazon and Best Buy for $159 starting July 2.
