Realme is gradually spreading its tentacles into Europe. The Old Continent even received the Realme X2 Pro before India, which is one of its largest markets. Currently, the manufacturer has noted the much more low-cost Realme 5 just in time for the holidays.

Realme 5 gets European launch at €169

The Realme 5 lands in Europe with a price tag tag of €169 and that gets you the 4GB RAM+128GB version. That isn’t too bad considering the exactly version sells for INR 10,999 (~€139) in India. The cameraphone will be in the world in Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple.

The Realme 5 has a 6.5–inch Mini-drop FullScreen panel with an HD+ resolution. It is fueled by the Snapdragon 665 processor and sports a 5000mAh battery.

There are four cameras on the back of the cameraphone – a 12MP f/1.8 main scanner, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 2MP portrait camera, and a 2MP 4cm macro digital camera. There is a 13MP sensor in front for selfies.

The Realme 5 has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Dual-SIM support, and a dedicated MicroSD card slot. It operates on Android Pie with ColorOS on top. For connectivity, you take a MicroUSB port, an audio jack, and Bluetooth 5.0.

Realme says the cameraphone will be on sale at 22:00 CET on November 27 for €159. So you could want to wait till then to take it for fewer. We don’t know if the additional Realme smartphones sold in Europe will be discounted however there is no harm in checking.

The Realme Europe page says they currently only ship to Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom only.
