Samsung seems intent on massively expanding its J-series of smartphones this year. We've already seen the upcoming Galaxy J4 and J8 in benchmarks, and now it's time to gawk at the Geekbench listing for the yet-unannounced Galaxy J6, identified by its model number SM-J600F. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall saga has been gathering pace in recent days. One of the reports doing the rounds over the weekend pointed to the possibility of Samsung remotely disabling devices affected by the battery issue causing some handsets to catch fire or explode. The story goes that one French Note 7 owner on Reddit was told that every "recalled" Note 7 would be remotely deactivated by Samsung after September 30, thus ensuring that no potentially dangerous handsets could be used after this date. Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei Nova 3 Android Pie coming soon in India

Huawei recently started rolling out Android Pie on several products all around the world. Currently it is Last but not least the moment for the Indian units of the Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei Nova 3. HMD confirms Oreo update for all Nokia Android smartphones

After Sony, now HMD has revealed its plans for the Oreo update. The company has confirmed that all Nokia-branded Android smartphones - the Nokia 3, 5, 6, and 8 - will get the Android 8.0 update.
