Google will require that phone makers roll out monthly security updates

During Google I/O, head of Android Security, David Kleidermacher, spoke about the changes that are coming to security in Android P. Of course, the talk started by mentioning the ways that Google has made it easier for OEMs to make updates for their Android devices thanks to things like Project Treble. Carphone Warehouse lists Moto G6 Plus and G6 Play ahead of today’s launch

It looks like the Motorola Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play are close to becoming official as the pair have been listed by UK retailer Carphone Warehouse. The listing offers the names along with a brief description but the links themselves have been taken down. Luckily the guys over at Android Police managed to procure a few official press renders of both phones. The photos are inline with what we've seen from case renders. LG Q7 Stylus+ to debut in Taiwan soon

Last week, LG unveiled the Q7 in three versions - LG Q7, LG Q7α and LG Q7+ - but the previously rumored LG Q7 Stylus wasn't a part of the announcement. It turns out the phone is still coming and pretty soon as evidenced by its Taiwanese National Communications Commission filling. An LG handset with model name LG LM-Q710 was listed under the name LG Q7 Stylus+. It seems the Q7 Stylus+ will launch alongside the LG Q7+, also certified by the Taiwanese NCC, in the country. The Gear Fit2 Pro moniker has already been officially confirmed, and thanks to a recent leak, we also know what to expect from the wearable. Bixby 2.0 to offer support for smart home, be open to third-party developers

As expected, Samsung has revealed some key details about the next version of its Bixby virtual assistant.
