OnePlus 3/3T get BlueBorne vulnerability fix in latest Open Beta

Chinese manufacturer OnePlus has started pushing out a new OxygenOS Open Beta update (24/15) to its OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones. The update in question brings along a handful of changes, prime among them being fix for the Blueborne vulnerability.

For those who aren’t aware, the vulnerability allows a remote attacker to take control of devices via Bluetooth. What’s scary is that the process does not even require the device being attacked to be paired to the attacker’s device, or even to be set on discoverable mode.
