The Nubia Z20 will be Nubia‘s second dual-screen phone (counting the Nubia X and Nubia X 5G as one). For this second-generation dual-screen phone, Nubia has made some changes.
First, the main panel is currently OLED too rather of LCD as that of the Nubia X. It is larger at 6.42-inches and the photo uploaded by TENAA shows that it is curved on both sides. Of course, there is with no notch nor punch-hole display what is what Nubia wants to avoid in the first place, thus the dual-screen design.
The front see of the smartphone also confirms that the Nubia Z20 is sporting the similar dual fingerprint design of the Nubia X. Like you could look at, there are indentations on both sides of the phone.
There is only one side picture (of the left), so we only get to view one fingerprint scanner clearly. More than that sensor is the SIM slot tray. There is no MicroSD card slot however Nubia will suggests the phone in three versions – 6 + 128GB, 8 + 256GB, and 12 + 512GB.
The last image is of the phone’s rear wherever the compact 5.1-inch OLED panel resides. The rear has also undergone few key redesigns. The upper part is occupied by the cameras what are 3 now. They are arranged horizontally in a similar fashion to that of the Galaxy S10+ but in a pill-shaped housing. On each side of the housing is an LED flash.
There are with no photos of the top and backside. But going by the Nubia X, we do not think the Z20 will have an audio jack. There will be a USB Type-C port at the bottom for information, transfer and charging, and the TENAA listing says the 3900mAh battery supports fast charging.
The smartphone will be available in a single color version which is a mix of red and black. It will have a Sd 855+ processor, run Android 9 Pie out of the package and have a 48MP + 8MP + 16MP triple camera setup.
The Nubia Z20 releases on Augst 8 in China.
