T-Mobile LG G4 seems to be receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update

It looks like T-Mobile's version of the LG G4 (model number H811) is finally in the process of receiving the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This has already made it to many other variations of the smartphone, so it's nice to see it landing on one more carrier version.
Neither LG nor T-Mobile have officially announced the rollout yet, but it is happening, according to multiple people reporting as much on Reddit. Most of those who managed to install it have done so through the LG Bridge software for PCs and Macs, but there is one mention of an over-the-air update too. (more…)

Huawei P9 has its specs leaked one more time thanks to GFXBench

Huawei's P9 will finally be made official at an event on April 6, which is this Wednesday. The grand unveiling follows leaks upon leaks that we've seen of the device over the past few weeks. In fact, its back side got portrayed in all its glory mere hours ago, complete with Leica branding for the camera and new Huawei text-only logo on the lower side. And now we've got a leaked list of specs for the P9, probably the last one before it gets official. Honor 9i debuts with 5.9-inch 18:9 screen and four cameras

Huawei's Honor sub brand has just launched the Honor 9i in India. The phone is a Flipkart exclusive, priced at 19,999 INR, but currently going for 17,999 INR (around €234). The Honor 9i is the same phone as the Maimang 6 that was announced for China and the Honor Nova 2i for Malaysia. The Honor 9i/Nova 2i/Maimang 6 has a 5.9-inch 18:9 IPS LCD of 1080x2160px resolution, dual cameras on the back (16MP+2MP) and two snappers on the front (13MP + 2MP).
