few days ago I received this multimedia device Mini MX.
The package as you can see include:
- Mini MX box
- High quality HDMI cable
- remote
- Power supply
- User manual in English
The hardware specification looks nice:
CPU: Amlogic S905 Quad Core
GPU: Mali-450 MP
RAM: 1G
ROM: 8G
System: Android 5.1.1
Max. Extended Capacity: 32G
SPDF, LAN, 2 USB ports, HDMI
At first start you need to add Internet connection.
As you can see an update poped up.
It took few min to download and install.
After reboot the new ROM appeared.
In settings you can choose whatever language you want.
As it is media Device Mini MX first at all I wanted to test movie playing.
so I attached my 1TB external hard drive to the box along with wireless mouse and keyboard.
The devices has been recognized.
I start the first movie I saw in my HDD.
It played well but there wasn’t any sound!
Hopefully I have experience with such problems in my phone.
So I know the solution – MX Player Pro.
After installed it and added the DTS audio codecs all was OK.
I tested even 3D movies and it runs smooth and well.
I couldn’t test 4K movies because I dont have 4K TV.
So in conclusion i can say that this TV Box can be faster but for less then EUR40 it’s a great upgrade if your TV is not SMART TV.
