Photo of Meizu 16 confirms the in-display fingerprint

The Meizu 16 is an oft-leaking flagship from the company in the last month or so. The company's CEO also helped keep the hype wave going after confirming a cooling vapor chamber for the Snapdragon 845 and teasing high screen-to-body ratio and in-display fingerprint scanner. The latest one comes from a Twitter leakster, who posted a photo of two devices side by side, which are presumably the two variants of the Meizu 16 - the big one and the small one. We can see that the left one comes with a tad smaller chin and shows a prompt for a placing your finger onto the screen. The image is...

Check out these Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s camera samples and gestures demo

During the first day we spent with the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, we focused on introductions and a hardware overview. We've had a bit more time with it now and we want to share our thoughts on the updated UI (and its gestures) along with camera, including testdriving the HDR mode. As you may have heard, Xiaomi is on a path to give you as much screen real estate as it can and the way to do it doesn't include a notch. Instead, the company slimmed the bezels as far as they would go and even removed the familiar Android navigation buttons. These buttons have been replaced with gestures - swipe...

Samsung Galaxy S8 uses two different camera sensors

It turns out that Samsung is using two different sensors for the back and front camera in the Galaxy S8 and S8+. Units have been spotted using a Sony IMX333 sensor and a S5K2L2 ISOCELL sensor made by System LSI, a subsidiary of Samsung. The same goes for the new 8MP autofocus front-facing camera - underneath the optics is either a Sony IMX320 unit or an ISOCELL S5K3H1. The different cameras share the same specs across the board though. No matter if you get a Sony or a Samsung-made main camera you still have a 1/2.55" 12.2MP sensor with Dual Pixel autofocus and naturally the optics...
