Microsoft is making PUBG and Pro Evolution soccer 2019 free on Xbox

Xbox One owners can now get PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) and PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) 2019 for free from the Windows store.

PUBG requires an Xbox Live Gold subscription ($9.99/month or $59.99/year) to play because it’s a multiplayer shooter while PES 2019 can be downloaded for free but will need a subscription if you want to play with friends online.

Microsoft will hold its gaming-focused XO18 show this weekend so it’s likely that these deals will be a talking point on stage. We expect Microsoft will have other promotions as well.
