Samsung Galaxy S7 active receives Android 8.0 update on AT&T

The time has finally come for AT&T to send out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to the Samsung Galaxy S7 active. This model, as you may remember, was exclusive to this particular carrier, pairing the specs of the vanilla S7 with a rugged build. More than 82 billion apps were installed from Google Play in 2016

Google has revealed that over 82 billion apps were installed from its Play Store last year, up from the 65 billion figure that was reported for the year 2015. The revelation was made by the VP of Engineering for Android, Dave Burke, at the company's ongoing I/O conference. In addition, Burke discussed about Android Wear, noting that a total of 24 manufactures have committed to the company's wearable platform. Nokia 3.1 roll out continues, now available in UAE

The Nokia 3.1 went official back in May and it's rolling across global markets since. Russia was first to get it, followed by Jordan, and more recently, the US. And now, you can add more more market to that list, the UAE, where the handset is available to purchase from Axiom Telecom. Both 16GB and 32GB storage options are listed on Axiom Telecom's website, although only first one is currently available. Price tag is AED 519 ($140). Unlocked Moto Z2 Play is up for pre-order in the US, Verizon’s model just $120 this weekend

The Moto Z2 Play has been available at Verizon since late June, so it's finally time for the unlocked model to make an appearance. This can now be pre-ordered directly from Motorola's online store. It is priced at $499.99 and will work on all major US carriers - AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, even Verizon. You can choose between black and gold, color-wise.
