Meizu was expected to launch the M6S (also rumored as Blue Charm S) in the last weeks of 2017, but that got postponed to January. Today media representatives received an invite for an event on January 17 at the Beijing National Convention Center.

The phone is expected to be the company’s first device with 18:9 ratio screen, and it will have HD+ resolution, as seen in some live images. It will most likely have a fingerprint scanner on the side, making it the first Meizu phone without a home button on the front.
