Huawei nova 4 arrives at TENAA with a triple camera, including a 48MP sensor

The Huawei nova 4 will be unveiled on December 17, a week after its sibling, the Honor View 20. The two handsets share the punch hole selfie camera on the front and the 48MP main camera on the back. You can just about make out the "48MP AI camera" label in these photos posted by TENAA. But that's only one of three cameras on the back of the nova 4. So that's where these two otherwise similar phones diverge - the Honor phone will rely on the huge 1/2" sensor for everything, the Huawei phone has extra hardware. Samsung Galaxy J8 will be available in India on June 28

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy J8 for the first time last month. Back then the company said the phone would be out in India at some point in July, but we have some good news. It turns out that the J8 is actually going to be released in the subcontinent in just three days - that is, on June 28. That's a nice example of a rare occurrence in the mobile world - a product becoming available before its initially anticipated release window. The Galaxy J8 will be purchasable in blue, black, and gold. Give the ‘Infinity Touch' to your picture's background with the #BackgroundBlurShape of the new...

Google Pixel 2 XL charging reportedly capped at 10.5W

Add one more to the list of complaints regarding the LG-made Google Pixel 2 XL. According to some in-depth analysis the Google Pixel 2 XL charging speed is capped at 10.5W and does not actually utilize the full 18W that the supplied charger is capable of providing. According to user Nathan K., the power draw tops out at 10.5W and because the charging is usually non-linear, the power draw drops even further than 10.5W after 65%. This results in a total charge time of around two and a half hours. The general understanding here is that Google and LG may have taken a more...

CAD schematics highlight the miniscule design changes for the Galaxy S9

The Galaxy S9 will be a generation for refinement rather than revolution. The exterior design of the new phones has barely changed - comparing CAD schematics for both makes it plain to see. For the most part, the S9 phones - both the small one and the Galaxy S9+ - will be differ by fractions of a millimeter compared to the S8 generation. The biggest change seems to be that the S9+ model will be 1.7mm shorter than its predecessor (we've included a table with dimensions at the bottom). The screen position, even the thickness of the earpiece have been nudged ever so slightly. There...
