New Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 update on Verizon brings Netflix HDR streaming support

Verizon has started pushing out a new update to Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 units on its network. Arriving as software version NRD90M.T827VVRU1AQJ3, the update brings along support for Netflix High Dynamic Range (HDR) video streaming. A couple of other changes are there as well, including fix for a Fingerprint Setup Wizard issue as well as Android security fixes for the month of October. As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it might take some time for the update to hit your device. So be patient. Source

Samsung Z3 photos leak, continues Samsung’s “Betting Big” mantra

Samsung said at the company’s Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 announcement last month that the company is “betting big” on larger screens. The same can be said for the Korean manufacturer’s Tizen-powered smartphones. The Samsung Z3 has leaked in new photos, showing the new Z3’s display size against the Z1 (no Z2, for those who are wondering). The Z3 appears to be taller and wider than its predecessor, and we know for a fact that the display will certainly be wider because the Z3 features a 5-inch, Super AMOLED display, as opposed to the 4-inch display on the Z1. The 5-inch display on the Z3 is actually slightly wider than the 4.8-inch Galaxy S3, which started Samsung’s meteoric rise to the top of the Android world.
