Huawei has dispatched 100 million phones this year

Huawei has shipped more than 100 million phones in the first three quarters of 2017, marking a very impressive 19% increase over the same period last year. In the period from January to September Huawei managed to beat Apple's shipments to become the second smartphone vendor in the world, behind Samsung. Huawei ships a lot of phones in all price groups and under a few different brands. The low to mid-priced Nova smartphones as well as the mid to upper range Honor brands are both part of Huawei. New leaks reveal full specifications of the Galaxy S7 Active

Samsung and AT&T are expected to unveil the Galaxy S7 Active on June 10, and most of the smartphone’s specifications have already been leaked. However, some of the most important bits of information about the device were unknown until now: screen size and battery capacity. According to a new report from VentureBeat, the Galaxy S7 Active sports a 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED display and a huge 4,000 mAh battery. Other specifications include a Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Buyers would also be able to expand the storage space on the device using a microSD card. Apple TV 4K leak shows 4K HDR support

Apple's macOS High Sierra finally introduced native support for h.265 (HEVC) videos and the company made a big deal about 4K video support on the new Macs. Apple TV is still stuck on 1080p, but it seems that this will change tomorrow. Info from config files confirms that the new Apple TV 4K will play 4K 2160p video with HDR support - both HDR10 and Dolby Vision.
