Now, it looks that Huawei is In addition jumping the bandwagon. Even though its sub-brand Honor has presently released a cameraphone with a same mechanism — Honor Magic 2, Huawei is still to release a phone with a retractable digital camera.

Huawei has filed a patent for a smartphone with a sliding mechanism, suggesting that the Chinese company is exploring the possibility of slider-based phone design.

In a patent design published noted this month in the Global Design Database of the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) by Huawei Technologies reveals a full-screen phone with a slider digital camera.

The cameraphone, with an almost borderless design with curved surface corners, houses the speaker-grille in the narrow bezel. The image sensor is extendable and offers space for a dual selfie image sensor, with a flash in the middle. On the back, there is room for 2 digital cameras and a flash.

There’s no fingerprint sensor on the phone’s back panel, which could mean that it will be placed under the screen. Another chance is that it is included in the power button.

Since most of the top quality cameraphones come with three or more camera sensors on the back, we are assuming that this will be a budget gadget. It’s not yet famous within what series this Huawei smartphone will be placed if it honestly receives introduced. The company week ago filed trademark programs for P Smart X and P Smart Z, and this patent design of a smartphone can be a part of the up coming P Smart lineup.
