Original Pixel and Pixel XL head for greener pastures, no longer available from Google store

They had a good run, but now it is time to retire - the Google Pixel and Pixel XL are no longer available through Google's official store. The first Pixels, replacements of the Nexus line, launched in October 2016, meaning they were on sale for a year and a half. Google committed to 2 years of software updates for these two, meaning they will enjoy fresh software for another six months. This means that Android P will be the last version the original Pixels receive. Huawei P30 Pro with four rear cameras and has 10x optical zoom, new renders show

One of the anticipated telephones in 2019 is Huawei‘s P-series flagships which will have the Huawei P30 and the Huawei P30 Pro. A render has surfaced online said to be of the Huawei P30 Pro and it displays the phone’s design and features, primary one being the quad digital cameras on its back. The Huawei P20 Pro was the first triple camera cameraphone in the world. Its successor will include an extra camera whenever it launches upcoming year however it won’t be the world’s first cameraphone with 4 rear digital cameras as that title belongs o the Samsung Galaxy A9/A9s. The non-pro variant of the P30 will arrive with 3 rear digital cameras, one far more than that of the Huawei P20. According to XDA Developers, only three of the 4 cameras on the Huawei P30 Pro could be used for taking pictures. The fourth is a ToF (time of flight) sensor that will be used for 3D face scanning and modeling. However, one of the Huawei P30 Pro’s sensors is a telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom. The Huawei P30 will make do with a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The render displays the four cameras are arranged vertically. 3 of the sensors are in a single housing with a LED flash and laser focus module between the first lens and the other lenses. The fourth lens is in a separate housing but on the same vertical line as the others. ZTE unveils Axon 7s with Snapdragon 821

ZTE extends the life of the Axon 7 even further - there's a new upgraded version, which sports a Snapdragon 821 chipset (up from the 820). However, it's not clear if it has 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage like the previous spec bump. Really, that's all ZTE's press release says and their website is yet to be updated with the 7s model. We did notice that the speaker grill design has changed, but there's no info on any changes to the stereo speakers or the Dolby Atoms. BLU R1 Plus launched with 5.5-inch screen and 4,000mAh battery

Miami-based smartphone manufacturer BLU has launched a new smartphone. Dubbed R1 Plus, the device is powered by MediaTek MT6737 SoC, and sports a 5.5-inch HD display. RAM options include 2GB and 3GB, while storage options include 16GB and 32GB. The handset features a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front shooter.
