Sony Xperia XZ1 rear panels show extra large hole for the flash

The XZs was a stopgap measure, the Xperia XZ1 is Sony's actual next-gen maistream flagship. It will be smaller than the XZ Premium (a 5.2" screen is expected), but will share the Snapdragon 835 chipset, awesome camera and squarish design. The latter you can see in these photos, which show the rear panel of the XZ1. They are metal, of course, and once all the seals are in, they should be waterproof too - the things we expect from Xperia flagships. But what's with the extra large flash hole? Sleep issue with Nexus Player’s remote has been fixed

Last week, Google confirmed that it has identified a fix for the problem that's causing the Nexus Player's remote to sleep after 5-10 minutes of inactivity, and the solution is being tested internally. Well, good news is the solution is now live. A Google employee updated the issue tracker thread discussing the problem, saying the server-side fix went live yesterday. Microsoft introduces cheaper Surface Laptop and Surface Book 2 variants

Microsoft has introduced new price points for each of its Surface Laptop and Surface Book 2 models. Both now start at a lower price, albeit with reduced specs. Starting with the Surface Laptop, the new base model comes with an Intel Core m3 processor with Intel HD Graphics 615, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage and is priced at $799. Android 9 Pie review

Android 9 is officially here and we would be remiss not to mention our slight disappointment at the Pie moniker. Don't get us wrong, pie sounds perfectly mouth-watering and playful, but perhaps just a bit too plain for an Android name? Considering the track record, that is.
