Recently, it came to light that some users of Google’s new Pixel 2 smartphones are complaining that their units are making ‘clicking and high pitch frequency sounds.’ Well, the company has now provided an update on the issue.
According to a Google employee, who is Community Manager at the official Pixel forum, the company has started investigating the problem.
Orrin also noted that the problem – which he says affects only a small number of Pixel 2 users – doesn’t affect the performance of the device in any way. As a temporary solution, he suggested turning off NFC.
