Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 torn down

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has been torn down by Chinese site ZOL and we'll be taking a look at some of its inner workings. The teardown has revealed several improvements in design and materials when compared to the original Xiaomi Mi Mix. There are no screws to access the inside of the phone, so to get inside, the rear ceramimic panel of the phone must be heated to loosen its adhesive. Once the back panel comes off, the fingerprint scanner's ribbon cable remains tethered to the board. There's a shield protecting the mainboard, which also features antennas printed in a gold color....

Nokia 6 (2018) is officially available in the US on May 6 for $269 unlocked

The original Nokia 6 was HMD Global's first smartphone last year, but now it's 2018 so its successor is already official. Some of those who contacted Google support were offered...

Huawei Mate 10 Lite leaks in hands-on video, showing off its four cameras and 18:9 screen

To the disappointment of no one, we yesterday found out that Huawei won't rebrand the Maimang 6 for countries other than China as G10, instead selling the same device as the Mate 10 Lite. That leak also brought us full spec details and leaked press renders showing the soon-to-be Mate 10 Lite in all its glory ahead of its September 22 unveiling in China (as the Maimang 6 - it will only officially become a Mate on October 16). Today someone in China has outed a very short hands-on video with this smartphone, which quickly shows off a live unit for the first time. At this point you've...
