Last year's Moto Z was only available in the US via its exclusive carrier deal with Verizon, so while you were able to get the thinner Moto Z from the unlocked markets, you were not able to get the shatter-resistant Moto Z Force with a larger battery from anywhere besides Verizon. Things this year will be different with the Moto Z2 Force. As per phone leaker Evan Blass, @evleaks, The Moto Z2 Force will be available from at least one other carrier in the US. Huawei Mate S is official with Kirin 935 SoC and 5.5-inch display

Huawei just pulled the wraps off the Mate S – a smaller alternative to the Ascend Mate7 with a few nifty touches of its own. The Huawei Mate S is built around a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with FullHD resolution and “a screen color saturation of 105 percent”, which is not that big of feat as most other mobile displays already surpass the RGB color gamut. A lot more tangible is the 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 that covers the display. Using a Force touch sensor the Mate S incorporates an improved version of the Knuckle control feature, which debuted on the P8, for new and ingenious ways to control your smartphone. New Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus render suggests FullView screen

Xiaomi just announced the Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite and now another Redmi handset is on its way. A render of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus appeared on Weibo, suggesting the device will have FullView display with 18:9 ratio, which would be a first for Xiaomi. The image, if real, shows a dual camera on the back and a dual-LED flash, all lined in a vertical setup. Below them is a fingerprint scanner in a similar fashion like the Redmi Note 4. Rogers and Fido offering 32GB iPhone 6 in Canada; blue Huawei P10/P10 Plus now also available

As expected, more Canadian carriers have started offering the special edition 32GB iPhone 6 in the country. Specifically, Rogers and Fido are the latest carriers that have begun selling the phone.
