T-Mobile’s Galaxy S8 Active gets Oreo as well

After AT&T, T-Mobile has started rolling out the Oreo update for the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active units on its network. The update arrives as version G892USQU1BRC4 and weighs in at around 1,302 MB. The magenta carrier's official website reveals the update includes some bug fixes and software stability improvements, in addition to the usual Oreo goodies. The roll out started March 29, so it shouldn't be long before you get the update (in case you haven't already). Source



Samsung Galaxy Note9 goes live with better S Pen, bigger battery and screen

Facebook announces how it will restrict third-party access from user data

A couple of weeks ago, Mark Zuckerberg made a statement following the realization that Facebook's platform was used to influence the outcome of the 2016 United States election. Today, Facebook offers a more specific look at how exactly it is restricting users' data from falling into the wrong hand while admitting that at least 87 million accounts' information were improperly shared with Cambridge Analytica (70 million accounts were of the US). HTC’s revised Q2 2015 guidance reveals an upcoming net loss

HTC released a guidance revision for Q2 2015. The Taiwanese manufacturer is expected to post a net loss between $257 million (NT 7.95 billion) and $291 million (NT 9.05 billion). The company’s loss at the end of the month will interrupt a series of four straight profitable quarters. Revenue for the quarter will range between $1.06 billion (NT33 billion) and $1.16 billion (NT36 billion) - down from $1.36 billion (NT41.5 billion) for Q1 2015. (more…)
