LG G7 notch settings pictured

The LG G7 ThinQ will let you hide the notch. A spy shot shows a setting called New Second Screen, which allows you to toggle this on and off and even enable virtual rounded corners on the display below the notch. There also seems to be an option to change the background color for the status bar, though we're not quite sure how that will work - black hides the notch, anything else doesn't. Most of the options seem variations of black/gray, but then there's the rainbow option at the right. It's also worth keeping in mind that (according to the rumor mill) the LG G7 will have an RGBW...

Most beautiful smartphone from Huawei’s sub-brand Honor 8 reportedly coming soon!

The latest rumor from China states that a new Honor-branded device is coming soon. This will apparently complement the recently unveiled Honor V8 in Huawei's portfolio, sporting a smaller screen.
The Honor 8 could thus be the successor to the Honor 7 from last year. It will reportedly come with a 5.2-inch display, Huawei's Kirin 950 or Kirin 955 chipset, 4GB of RAM, a 12 MP dual camera setup on the rear, and a USB Type-C port. Wireless charging will be supported, and the phone will have an IR blaster and a battery capacity north of 3,000 mAh. Its back will be covered by 2.5D curved glass, so we assume it will have a metal frame. All of this should allegedly make this the most beautiful Honor smartphone ever created, according to the people who are the sources for all these rumors. Obviously that will be for you to judge when it finally becomes official. Given that the Honor 7 was announced in June 2015, we assume the Honor 8 could see the light of day next month. In the meantime, expect plenty more leaks about it.
