New HTC U11 Plus teaser shows a small screen bezel

Earlier this week HTC outed its first teaser image for the upcoming November 2 event where we expect the U11 Plus to become official. And today the Taiwanese company is back with another picture, this time showing us a teeny tiny bit of the phone's front. While one corner normally isn't much to go on, what's very obvious here is that the bottom screen bezel is much smaller than we've seen from HTC's recent flagships. So it definitely looks like the rumors will pan out and the U11 Plus will be the first HTC handset with a tall 18:9 aspect ratio and small bezels. We wouldn't call this...

It's official, Lenovo will announce the Z5s on December 18 at its global headquarters in Beijing. The company went about announcing the date through a series of posters on Weibo, moving past the previous official date of December 6. Lenovo's teaser for the Z5s The posters themselves don't reveal many specifics - we get an outline of the Lenovo Z5s, a promise of Speed and a look at the (distinctly reminiscent of the Huawei P20 Pro) triple camera array on the rear. Xiaomi Chiron spotted with 5.6″ screen, Snapdragon 835 chipset

A curious Xiaomi passed through GFXBench - code named Chiron, the mysterious phone has a 5.6" screen with 16.5:9 aspect ratio. That's quite unusual, the original Mi Mix had a 17:9 screen, the new one is at 18:9. This device has 1,080 x 1,980px resolution instead - seems just enough to fit on-screen buttons and leave a 16:9 screen behind. But don't be distracted by the lack of QHD resolution this is a flagship device. The Xiaomi Chiron has a Snapdragon 835 chipset with 6GB of RAM and a whopping 256GB of built-in storage. This could be the Mi Note 3 that people actually wanted, not the...

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s official teasers reveals no selfie camera on top

The photos immediately revealed the phone from the front, debunking rumors about a selfie camera in the upper right corner. The bottom bezel is a bit thicker, meaning the new Mi Mix 2s will look very much like the existing Mi Mix 2. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s feat. Kris Wu In the same time Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun posted information on Weibo regarding the Mi Mix 2s launch in Shanghai on March 27. 10 lucky guests will win...

Oppo R17 was unveiled on Monday with an under-display fingerprint scanner and a tiny notch for the selfie camera. The phone will go on pre-order on Saturday and will be officially released in a week, but it already appeared in a hands-on video, showing the fingerprint scanner in action. The Oppo R17 has an OLED screen, allowing the optical fingerprint reader to work. As the video shows, the scanner is not as fast as conventional ones, but the phone unlocks at the first try. We also see the tiny chin, the small notch and some side bezels. While the Oppo R17 is official, there are...
