As we welcomed the New Year Xiaomi Mi A1 remains on top of our trending smartphones chart, extending its streak to four weeks. The yet-to-be announced Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 took second. Previous rumors said this one wasn't coming at all, but this week new reports said it's still on the cards, which helped it reach the podium. The Nokia 6 (2018) made its official debut and shot straight to third place, knocking the Galaxy J7 Pro off the podium. The Oppo F5, which led the chart for two months in a row is now down to fifth, ahead of the Xiaomi Redmi 5A and the Samsung Galaxy Note8....

The Midnight Black color option of the OnePlus 3T seems new, it's barely over a week old, if you count the colette limited edition. However, the behind-the-scene video tells a very different story - Black was the original color of the OnePlus 3. It goes back to the beginning - the OnePlus One and its signature Sandstone Black. Samsung Galaxy S6 active getting May security update

The AT&T-exclusive Samsung Galaxy S6 active has started receiving a new update. The update carries a build number of G890AUCS6DQE1, weighs 15.6MB, and brings along Android security fixes for the month of May. Going by the official change-log, nothing else is included in the update. As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it may take sometime for the update to hit your device. Apple’s WWDC starts soon, here’s how to watch it

WWDC is upon us yet again. Maybe you read our "what to expect" article over the weekend, maybe you want to read it now as the clock ticks down. The event starts at 10 am Pacific Time (17 pm UTC) and will be live streamed. As usual, you'll need an Apple device (Mac OS or iOS) or a Windows 10 PC with the Edge browser to watch the stream.
