Amazon has offered AR implementation and shopping tools in its iOS app for some time, but the feature was lacking for Android. Google released the ARCore 1.0, enabling users to use augmented reality for shopping furniture, home decor and, of course, Amazon Echo products.
The AR feature works quite simple. You either scroll through AR-enabled items in AR View section or click “See how this product fits in your room”, if the actual product has such option.
