Maybe you’ve been thinking what is all about Bluetooth versions?
The simple answer is the way it’s connecting.
So higher version is more secure, can transfer more data and most important it uses less power.
So we can tell it’s battery friendly 
The design is simple and clear.
The Xiaomi Mi Speaker 2 is build from high quality PC + ABS material – the same used in Mi water Kettle.
The upper surface of aluminum alloy, anodized.
Near bottom has a small LED indicator at the front.
The bottom is from rubber and Mi logo is printed.
It is also simple to use.
When you press the top edge for 2 sec the speaker will power on/off.
If you hold the barrel more then 2sec it will go to pairing mode.
For volume up/down just rotate the barrel like on your home audio
It ls very cool.
The speaker also has build in microphone for hands free calls.
The battery is li-ion 1200mhA rechargeable and can provide up to 7 hours of music playback!
Anyway lets back to the Xiaomi Mi Speaker 2.
and uses Professional speaker TYMPHANY:
The speaker has full range frequencies and can deliver up to 5watts of clear sound.
That means Full bass and treble are covered!
So lets test the sound.
I paired with my Mi Max Pro and used default player.
Played different kind of music styles and I can tell that the sound is really clear and even on highest volume I cant notice distortions!
I have some other cheap Bluetooth speakers and they are way, way behind this one!
I used it in noisy kitchen and the sound was great!
About using it as hands-free device, the mic seems to be not very useful.
The other person cant hear me clear but I want use this feature.
In fact I disabled from Bluetooth device settings.
So what are my conclusions?
The Xiaomi Mi Speaker 2 is really nice to have quality device.
