Amazon updated the Fire HD 10 tablet last year, but at $230 for an HD screen it wasn’t so hot. But how does $150 for a FullHD screen sound? With double the storage to boot! Yes, the All-New Kindle Fire HD 10 tablets are decidedly more attractive and their price is well into “impulse buy” territory.
The new screen has an IPS panel that measures 10.1″ with 1,920 x 1,200px resolution (224ppi). That’s up from 1,280 x 800px, which didn’t really cut it for a 10″ tablet. The Dolby Atmos stereo speakers are still on board.
