Here’s one thing that the speculative renders of the upcoming HTC U11 Plus did not get right – the bottom corners of the 6″ screen are rounded (the top corners are square).

This year, we’ve seen plenty of unorthodox screen shapes and we think this one is quite practical. The bottom of the screen usually shows the Android buttons, so the rounded corners will not eat into on-screen content. The 16:9 multimedia can also keep clear from the cut off areas.
