Another carrier in the United States has decided not to stick with Samsung’s official release date for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge. T-Mobile customers who placed their pre-orders on March 27 started receiving their units as early as last week. Customers who pre-ordered Samsung’s new flagship smartphones from Sprint will start receiving them on April 6.
Sprint confirmed through Twitter today that it will start shipping the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge to customers across the United States on Monday, April 6. Samsung’s official release date for both devices is April 10. That’s when the new handsets will be released in 20 countries around the world with more markets being added in the weeks to come. Sprint is selling the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge in black and white colors, the gold color is only available with the Galaxy S6 edge.
