Sd 615-powered moto g turbo edition unveiled in mexicoMotorola has updated its Moto G lineup with a new smartphone. Dubbed Moto G Turbo Edition, the device was unveiled in Mexico, and will go on sale there next week (November 13) for $283.

Specs-wise, the handset is powered by a Snapdragon 615 chipset with octa-core CPU and Adreno 405 GPU, and sports a 5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage, and packs in a 2470mAh battery.In terms of camera, the Moto G Turbo Edition features a 13MP rear unit and an 5MP front shooter. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, carries IP67 certification (meaning the device can withstand being submerged in up to a meter of water for half-an-hour), and offers dual-SIM support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and 4G LTE/3G HSPA+.
