Samsung Galaxy S6 Active passes Bluetooth certification

Samsung galaxy s6 active passes bluetooth certificationWe exclusively reported last month that Samsung indeed has the Galaxy S6 Active in the pipeline and that this device will first show up in the United States on AT&T. The Galaxy S6 Active (SM-G890A) has passed Bluetooth certification and the listing is now live on the Bluetooth SIG website. It’s unclear as of now when Samsung intends to officially announce this device but the Bluetooth certification does hint that the announcement may not be that far off now.As we have already reported, the Galaxy S6 Active will come with the 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED+ display that the Galaxy S6 has. Specifications will more or less be the same, with the Exynos 7420 SoC present onboard coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The dimensions will read 73.6 x 146.9 x 8.8 mm as opposed to 70.5 x 143.4 x 6.8 mm of the Galaxy S6 and the battery will get bumped up to 3500mAh. As the name suggests the Galaxy S6 Active will not be susceptible to the elements, though it’s not like the Galaxy S6 edge can’t stand a bit of water.
