As you can see there is no much accessories and even headsets.
But Xiaomi never include it in the box to reduce the price.
Anyway you can always buy them separately or better some high quallity headphones like Sehnheiser.
Now it’s time fo first start.
It will take longer time (1min) because the smartphone configurates the OS.
After start lets check is what languages are included.
As you can see there are plenty of them include Italian.
Unfortunately not all system apps are translated.
Some of them are still in inglish but’s not big deal (I always use English by default.)
The led light notification is real cool.
You can chose the color but also the led doesnt just blink but fading out
The other cool featue is the build-in call recording.
You can manualy turn it on during the call or automatically turn it on for all calls or for selected ones.
It’s a great feature I didnt see this in other phones!
The other cool feature is the blinking the flash during incoming call (iPhone style).
Also there is advanced Call and message Blocking list.
Now it’s time to test full HD movie play and YouTube.
All movies run great on YouTube or internal player.
But lets see gameplay performance.
I play FPS game – N.O.V.A 3 from time to time.
So watch me dying here
As you can see the game runs smooth and fluid without lags.
So yes the Redmi 3 is good enough for games thankfully to Adreno 405.
But lets see some benchmarks tests:
Antutu:
Geekbench 3:
As for the sound, I can say the air speaker is loud but it’s not much quallity.
The music listen trought headset has also avage quallity compared again with my Note 3 and S5.
Anyway if you are not musicman like me you probably wont notice it
I made some outside pictures and compared them to Samsung Note 3 and S5.

I’ve made some selfie pictures and I find them very well.
Also I’ve found very interesting feature in selfie camera – it detects man’s age by his face lol. It’s very funny.
At last I’ve tested the video recording.
I’ve found that auto focus isnt working in video mode or at least I couldnt activate it.
Also I’ve found the video has more noise compared with my 2 and the half year old Samsung Note 3.
At the end I can tell that this smartphone is great for it’s price.
The battery is superb – 3 days with meduim use!
The display is very bright and colorful.
The sound is OK but could be better.
The camera quallity is sufficient. Good in outdoor and avarage indoor.
The phone has nice game performance.
If you think that this is your budget smartphone (which I highly recomended).
You can buy it at best price from here:
P.S.
I forget to mention about FM Radio and IR blaster.
The radio is really great and the sound is better then compared MP3 test that I made!
About IR blaster I can say that has great range.
I tested on my TV and my DSLR and is does the job
P.S.2
Last night I’ve found more cool features!
If you have Mi Band (which I do ), in Do Not Disturb mode it can check when you fell asleep and turn on the DND mode an hour earlier! cool, isnt it
Beside this I’ve found that in/out internet traffic can be shown in notification bar
So I can conclude that MIUI (Mi user interface) is really user friendly and it’s not necessarily to install additional apps like in other Android smartphones
P.S.3
Just tested plug in USB storage and guess what? There is OTG support!
It’s really nice phone! Highly recommended!
